This Resources section provides the keys to a wide variety of excellent reference material regarding prayer.  To help prepare us to receive God's word we humbly pray:

"Father, surrounded by Your glory and majesty, comforted by Your grace and love, we bow before You and worship You. Forgive us of our prayerlessness, for thinking that somehow by our words and our wisdom we can do it without You. As we humble ourselves before You, help us to abide in Your presence seated in heavenly places with Jesus Christ. Teach us to pray according to Your will and purpose that Christ will be exalted in the midst of Your people. Teach us to pray in a way that releases Your power, that we might see Your purpose accomplished to the ends of the earth. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen."1

  • Prayer Basics (0)

There are many principles regarding the basics of prayer and praying.  For the bible-believing, God-fearing Christian, personal prayer is an intimate time of communication with the one true God.  It is the most powerful way to establish and maintain a relationship with God the Father.  As intimacy with God increases, prayer becomes as natural as breathing – it becomes our way of living. The following sections provide a primer on prayer.

  • Revival (0)

The term "Revival" can have many meanings. For our purposes, Revival means a passionate pursuit of God which leads to personal and then corporation transformation.   In citywide, transforming revival, everything shifts into alignment with God's original design and purposes as God's Presence hovers over the community.

  • Spheres for Prayer (0)

In 1975, Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade, and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission, had lunch together in Colorado. God simultaneously gave each of these change agents a message to give to the other. During that same timeframe Francis Schaeffer was given a similar message. That message was that if we are to impact any nation for Jesus Christ, then we would have to affect the seven spheres, or mountains of society that are the pillars of any society.

These seven mountains are business, government, media, arts and entertainment, education, the family and religion (church). There are many subgroups under these main categories. About a month later the Lord showed Francis Schaeffer the same thing. In essence, God was telling these three change agents where the battlefield was. It was here where culture would be won or lost. These are the spheres of society that One Voice envisions being covered in day and night prayer across America.

This section provides prayers and articles about praying for each of these seven spheres of society.
