Personal Revival

Prayer is one of the most powerful ways to bring about any change in your life.  Whether you are seeking changes in your attitude, your will or your emotions, God the Father can make it all happen...if you seek Him in prayer.  Repentance and submission to His will are the keys to personal transformation.  Check out the following articles to learn more about how prayer can help you change and change those around you.

Repenting of Pride

Posted in Personal Revival

Intention:

Pray that God will move upon our hearts, to reveal the PRIDE within that keeps us from fully depending upon Him and from doing His will in all things.

Scripture:

"Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall."    ~ Proverbs 16:18

Repenting of Rebellion

Posted in Personal Revival

Intention:

Pray that believers in Christ all over the world will put into practice today the Risen Christ's urging for each of us to become overcomers...zealous to repent.

Scripture:

"As many as I love I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.  Behold, I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.  He who has an ear, let him hear with the Spirit says to the churches."    ~ Revelation 3:19-22

True Repentance Transforms

Posted in Personal Revival

I was asking the Lord about repentance and He told me that most believers speak to Him/”pray” as if they’re doing a McDonalds drive-through.   “Lord, I want this, this and this. Fast.”

And then they speed off in another direction, consumed with their own self-interest and pleasure-seeking.

The word ‘fast’ is interesting.  The world and our flesh demands that everything should be “fast”, especially that which gives us fleshly pleasure (eg ‘fast food’).  But this is not the kind of “fast” that God requires.   When we try to do our relationship with Yahveh “fast” (ie. in this demanding, ‘just make me feel good’ way) it is an insult and abomination to Him.
