We, the people of God in Denver, stand together this day to enthrone Jesus Christ as Messiah and King, the Lion of Judah, the Sovereign Lord over our city, state and nation. We open wide the gates of our city, state and nation to God, welcoming Him to come watch over us and to build and enlarge His Kingdom in our midst to transform us into His city of destiny, a gateway city for America. We are willing, Lord we are ready to accept our responsibilities. To receive the key of the house of David. To be the church, one body, working together to pray with faith and to proclaim with boldness until Denver turns to God in our generation, and until we, His Church, in unity and through worshipping and serving Our Lord, become His fruitful vine as we listen, watch, wait and do His works. A vine whose branches extend beyond the borders of her land to the blessing of all towns, states and nations, especially Israel and Jerusalem. Come to the Lord, oh Israel, return again to the Father who loves you. Jesus calls out your name. Hear Him and return! The battle belongs to the Lord!
The family is the foundation of our society. That makes it an extremely important issue to cover in prayer! The institution of marriage is under attack. Families are stressed by financial issues. Families are separated due to work and military duties. We need to pray for families!
Imagine every family led by a husband and father who consciously released the dreams of his wife and children. Imagine wives who made it their priority to encourage their husband to dream, and who spoke prophetically into it.
This section provides prayer points to cover for families in our state and across the nation.

Blessing of Agreement for Marriages
Father, we thank You that one of the greatest blessings You have given us is the blessing of repentance.
We repent for not honoring, valuing and blessing the gifts of marriage and life that You have given us. We repent for leaving our first love of You and allowing the love of others and other things to distract us. The result is that the divorce rate in Christian marriages has become a mockery that has brought us to a place where the very definition of marriage as You've ordained it is now being challenged. Father forgive us for we know not what we've done.
We bless the marriages in the body of Christ to truly reflect the relationship between Christ and the church the way You desire.
We bless marriage relationships to the wisdom that comes from above which is pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
There are many ways you can be in prayer for marriage. This is merely a guide to help you, and your church, as you go before the Lord in prayer for marriage.
Pray for Marriage (from Alliance Defending Freedom)
Praise God for the impact of marriage:
• Thank Him for how marriage refines our character, creates stable community for the birth and nurture of children, and unites men and women in an enduring whole-life union.
• Thank Him for giving the distinct, irreplaceable gifts a mom and a dad each uniquely bring to children, through marriage.
Pray for Marriages which are the foundation of our families.
1. Your marriage (Prov. 31:10-12, Co[. 3:16-19)
Your marriage is an exclusive life-long relationship With your spouse, God created marriage to be the most satisfying human relationship. God intends for you and your spouse to be of one accord, spfrltually, physically and emotionally. Pray for your spouse. Pray for God to protect your marriage.
