Prayer for Denver

We, the people of God in Denver, stand together this day to enthrone Jesus Christ as Messiah and King, the Lion of Judah, the Sovereign Lord over our city, state and nation. We open wide the gates of our city, state and nation to God, welcoming Him to come watch over us and to build and enlarge His Kingdom in our midst to transform us into His city of destiny, a gateway city for America. We are willing, Lord we are ready to accept our responsibilities. To receive the key of the house of David. To be the church, one body, working together to pray with faith and to proclaim with boldness until Denver turns to God in our generation, and until we, His Church, in unity and through worshipping and serving Our Lord, become His fruitful vine as we listen, watch,  wait and do His works. A vine whose branches extend beyond the borders of her land to the blessing of all towns, states and nations, especially Israel and Jerusalem. Come to the Lord, oh Israel, return again to the Father who loves you. Jesus calls out your name. Hear Him and return! The battle belongs to the Lord!

Today as we unite in prayer for this consecrated city of refuge, we affirm that we are a threshing instrument in the Lord's hand, new and sharp because we are in a new day, and with many teeth for harvesting. Today we proclaim we will break every mountain of resistance so that all mankind in Colorado and the nation may see His glory. Today we arise to bless the river- rising in a fresh anointing, to pastor the gates, to prepare the way of the people of the border land, to build up the highway of the Lord, and to remove the stones. Let us spur one another on toward love and good deeds in Jesus.

We declare that all the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord and all the families of the nations will bless you. For dominion belongs to the Lord, and He rules over our city, our state, our land and over the nations. Come and reach out your hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of your people and unite us for battle. We ask for purity, love, joy, faith, peace, mercy, courtesy, sincere commitment, holiness, ears to hear, tenacity, mighty prayer power, freedom from fear, pure motives and hearts of worship. Lord protect us from the enemy. The victory is yours!

Let pride, broken relationships and unforgiveness end in Denver. Let brokenness and fear be things of the past. Let the church rise up to its high calling, to be the spotless bride of Christ, full of power, truth, beauty and grace. May the Lord be pleased in us and take us as His own. Let the celebration begin, the wedding feast of the Lamb. So soon, so near, Come Lord Jesus, let your kingdom come! To Denver, to the world.....Save now. Amen
